
The Ramallah Tourist Information Center was opened in September 2011. Located in the Old City, opposite the Municipality building, the first of its kind center provides tourist information and services to both residents and visitors, while working to develop tourism services and recreational activities in the city.
Services provided by the center:
- Detailed information about the city’s cultural and tourist sites, as well as nearby areas.
- Printed materials and publications to help visitors and tourists with their stay in the city and the country.
- Tourist maps of Ramallah and other Palestinian cities.
- A schedule of cultural, community, and recreational events in Ramallah.
- Guidance on the use of local transportation and city streets.
- City tours, both within Ramallah and surrounding areas.
- Books and publications on various aspects of Ramallah (geographical, historical, cultural, political, and social).
- A souvenir shop offering traditional Palestinian handicrafts, souvenirs, books, and brochures. The shop also features locally made heritage items, including maps, embroidery, ceramics, keychains, postcards, posters, and more.
The center is open daily (except Fridays) from 8 AM to 4 PM in the months of October to March, and from 8 AM to 6 PM from April to September.
