The Ramallah Cultural Palace came to life in 2005 after years of planning and collaboration between the Ramallah Municipality and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with generous support from the people of Japan.
With its spacious halls and main theater accommodating 740 seats, the Ramallah Cultural Palace came to fulfill a critical need in the cultural sector—not only within Ramallah but throughout Palestine. Since its doors opened, the palace has become a dynamic center for the most significant artistic, cultural, political, educational, and scientific events in Ramallah and across Palestine. From festivals to landmark performances, it has provided a stage for local and international talents to beam, bringing joy, inspiration, and connection to the Ramallah community.
