This project is part of Ramallah Municipality's ongoing efforts to promote sustainable development and green the city through innovative solutions. It aims to reuse treated water from the Al-Tira treatment plant for various purposes such as irrigation, supporting infrastructure projects, and providing water for fire-fighting points.
A 2-kilometer irrigation network has been established and expanded in several areas of the city, including Al-Tira, Al-Rihaneh Neighborhood, Al-Jahir Area, and the Police District. The Ramallah Municipality also offers treated water for irrigation in residential gardens across various locations in the city, reducing reliance on chemical fertilizers, and contributing positively to the environment.
