Ramallah Municipality holds membership in several prominent global city networks, which grants it access to the knowledge, policies, and expertise of major cities worldwide. These memberships include the United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), the 100 Resilient Cities Network, the Metropolitan Cities Network, LUCI (an international network on urban lighting), the Union of the Mediterranean Cities, and other networks focused on renewable energy, as well as regional networks like the Arab and Islamic Capitals Cities Network.
In addition, Ramallah has developed partnerships and cooperation agreements with cities and capitals around the world—from Paris and Toulouse to Amsterdam, Bonn, Lublin, Hounslow, Trondheim, Tunis, Casablanca, Johannesburg, and more.
